For the longest amount of time I refused to see Tangled. I was being so picky about the stupidest things. I wouldn’t see Tangled because the characters didn’t seem to look the same to me as other characters like the ones in Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Tarzan, and etc. I couldn’t stand the fact that Disney was changing to more advanced technology. 

This is the first time that I doubted the Disney Imagineers. But to be honest, I am completely angry I didn’t see this movie before I judged the creativity behind it; because once I popped it into my DVR, I fell in love. There is a certain type of sentimentality behind this movie; a certain type that only comes from Disney. 

Many scenes contain beautiful landscapes, characters, and music. Not only am I impressed by the amazing technologic aspects, but I am also impressed that Disney could make me feel confident in myself. Rapunzel taught me that you can do anything; whether that is escaping a tower or becoming a Disney Imagineer. It felt good to be reminded that I am capable of my dreams.

So, please go see this movie. I bet there are some fans out there that feel the same way about this movie as I once did, scared to give it a chance. But really, has Disney ever let you down?
